lyrics
Waking up, the air is different than before
See the colors for the first time
Watch your step, measure the distance from the sun
Take in the scale of the cosmos
Count with your fingers, imagine all the times
One should be deceased, left without a mark
Closing in, feel the cold breeze on your skin
Memories rushing from last time
Come to terms, the way of life you knew is gone
Take a step to the real world
Count with your fingers, imagine all the times
One should be deceased, left without a mark
Death in the air
Crows are flying low
Unbearable tension
Turning of tide
Moon is shining bright
Balancing on straight razor
All the ways to die
(Perish off the earth)
All the ways to perish off
(Calling your name)
The earth, the void
Calling your name
A fine, red line
Razor close
Razors edge
Hyper aware, or careful
No matter what you say
Can’t ever know who is listening
Avoid the light, read the signs
They’ve never been so clear
Avoid all contact with strangers
Count with your fingers, imagine all the times
One should be deceased, left without a mark
Death in the air
Crows are flying low
Unbearable tension
Turning of tide
Moon is shining bright
Balancing on straight razor
All the ways to die
(Perish off the earth)
All the ways to perish off
(Calling your name)
The earth, the void
Calling your name
A fine, red line
Razor close
Razors edge
Feel the aching, senses burning
Constant alarms ring in my head
Boat capsizing, temperature rising
Remember the words when you're drowning
I feel the urge to flee again
I feel the need to fight, invisible beings
The light keeps following me
Exposing my brains
I’m running until I can’t
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
